Update for 7/28/06
Prize
Money
Thanks
to some very generous individuals who support the WJF and desire
to see the skill level of juggling increase, we've now received
over three thousand dollars in donations. We've put a running
total on the WJF home page which we will modify as we receive
more donations. I'm still hoping to reach 10K by the time the
overall champion is announced on August 6th. It's not too late
to pitch in. 100% of all donations for prize money will go right
to the competitors.
Convention
Package Price Increase
The
convention package price will be going up on the first of August.
If you plan on attending, buy your convention package online
before August 1st to get the current rate.
Hotel
If
anyone has made last minute plans to attend the convention and
doesn't have a place to stay yet, I can still work out a deal
with the hotel to get you the convention rate of $49/night on
the weekday and $89/night on the weekends for up to two people
per room. Email me if you're interested.
Lunch
Buffet Tickets
(Not
included in the cost of the convention package)
We're
almost out of time to submit our final numbers to the catering
department for the Italian Lunch Buffet scheduled for Wednesday,
August 2nd at noon. This also includes admission to the Introduction
Show which will be held during the lunch. You can buy your tickets

Arrivals
Thomas
and Markus are flying in today (Friday). I'll try to get some
practice footage of us up before the convention starts. Toby,
Kristian, Vova and Olga come in over the weekend and Wes comes
in on Monday. If you're in Vegas and would like to practice
with us, let me know and I'll let you know when and where we
plan on practicing.
Media
Coverage
Vova
and Olga Galchenko have announced that they will be competing
in the WJF team competitions next week.
The
Galchenko's are in the middle of a major media blitz, including
a Time Magazine article, feauring myself and the WJF, and a
live performance and interview on NBC's The Today Show.
They
have not competed together in two years.You
won't want to miss their return as they compete to regain their
WJF team champion title.
Thomas
Dietz, Vova, Olga and myself will be on Fox 5 News live at 8:45am
on Wednesday, August 2nd to promote the upcoming convention.
Additionally, HBO Real Sports is planning on sending a correspondent
to do a story on the WJF at the convention. Other shows and
networks are planning on sending camera crews as well.
The
2005 Convention DVD is now ready and will be available at
the WJF convention. It will be available online by mid August.
